This end grain board has a 15.5" x 13" usable surface, providing plenty of room for ingredient prep. At 1.75" thick, it will hold up to more aggressive chopping, and has a nice weight and balance. A 30˚ bevel around the base makes it easy to pick up and move about while keeping the overall form clean. The end grain surface is easier on knives than side grain, and walnut is dense enough to be durable yet not so dense as to dull implements quickly.
